Dicey Defense is provided by Samuel Levens ("we", "us").

Game saves on your device

The game saves your dice collection, equipped suits, in-game currency, upgrades, milestones, reward status and current run on your device. A local backup helps recover a damaged save. These records let you resume play and preserve your progress.

The current game does not create a player account or send your save to a developer-operated server. There is no game-operated cloud sync. Device backups and restoration provided by Apple, Google or your device manufacturer are separate services governed by their settings and policies.

Optional ads and Google services

Dicey Defense uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising privacy choices. You can play without choosing a rewarded ad.

Google's services can process the following information, depending on your platform, choices and applicable requirements:

• IP address, including an estimate of your general location.
• Advertising, device, app or account-related identifiers where available and permitted.
• Ad views, clicks, video interactions and other app-interaction information.
• Crash, diagnostic and performance information.
• Privacy choices and information needed to determine which consent messages apply.

This information supports ad delivery, measurement, analytics, service performance, privacy compliance and fraud prevention. Ad personalization depends on your choices and eligibility. Google and the advertising partners involved in serving an ad may process information for these purposes; applicable consent messages identify providers and choices.

We do not separately collect your gameplay activity for analytics. Google's advertising services process the interaction and diagnostic information described above.

Your advertising choices

The app checks advertising privacy requirements when it starts. Where required, a consent message appears before an ad can be requested. Ads are requested only when Google's consent status permits them.

When available, use Ad privacy options in the collection or Ad privacy during a run to review or change your choices. Your device also provides advertising and tracking controls. Declining personalization does not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing.

Privacy checks are separate from watching an ad and may contact Google even if you do not choose an ad.

If you contact us

If you send a support or privacy request, we receive the contact information and message you provide, plus any screenshots or diagnostic details you choose to include. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue and handle your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or information unrelated to your issue.

Our contact address uses Gmail, so Google also processes support email under its Privacy Policy.

We keep support and privacy correspondence only for as long as needed to handle requests, resolve related issues and meet applicable legal obligations. We review it periodically and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Retention and deletion

Local saves remain in the app's storage until that storage is removed. On Android, clear the game's app storage in system settings. On iOS, delete the app rather than offloading it. These actions erase local progress; check your device's backup settings separately if you also want to remove backup copies. We cannot remotely erase or restore a save that exists only on your device.

There is no game account to delete. For information you have sent directly to us, contact the privacy address above. Google and other service providers control retention and deletion within their services under their own policies and applicable law. Deleting the game does not itself request deletion of information already processed by those providers. See Google's retention information.

Security and processing locations

Local saves use your device's app storage and its access protections. Google's advertising service encrypts information in transit. Google and the website hosting provider may process information outside your country under the safeguards described in their privacy policies.

Audience and children's privacy

Dicey Defense is intended for teens and adults and is not directed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request and remove information where appropriate.

This website

These information pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. They do not include our own analytics, advertising scripts or contact forms. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security, even when visitors are not signed in. This website hosting is separate from the mobile game's saves and advertising.

Requests and policy updates

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw consent, or raise a concern with your privacy regulator. Contact the privacy address above for information handled by us; use the linked provider controls for information handled within their services.

We will update this policy when the game's data practices change and identify the effective date here.
